The Orlando Fire Department - protects a service area of 111 square miles, with a class 1 ISO rating since 2007. With a staff of over 500 sworn firefighters, the department operates from 17 firehouse throughout the city. The Orlando Fire Department has been providing outstanding service to the citizens and visitors to Orlando since 1885, and is one of only 15 departments in America to have both International Accreditation and an ISO 1 Classification.
